When you order, an assortment of colours (Red – White – Rosé – Grand Blanc) and wines (Malherbe & Pointe du Diable) are possible.

 

Tasting notes

Ruby red and shiny. Fine nose with notes of cooked red fruits such as blackberry, then sweet spices like cinnamon, coffee, leather, light tobacco. Initial notes of blackberry jam, sweet spices, vanilla, heath, earth warmed by the sun. Serving temperature: 17°C to 18°C.

Food pairing

Beef daube, royal couscous, lamb tagine, pigeon with spices or lamb chops grilled with herbs.

Mix red brown clays and silvery schists (on the Cap Benat’s foothills).

Harvest

From 12th september 2014 for 75cL’s and from 12th september 2017 for magnums.

Winemaking

Mono-varietal winemaking. Low temperature maceration followed by a long fermentation in oak tanks. Aged in oak. Blending after ageing.
