Tasting notes

Ruby red and shiny. Fine nose with notes of cooked red fruits such as blackberry, then sweet spices like cinnamon, coffee, leather, light tobacco. Initial notes of blackberry jam, sweet spices, vanilla, heath, earth warmed by the sun.
Serving temperature: 14°C to 16°C.

Food pairing

Beef daube, royal couscous, lamb tagine, pigeon with spices or lamb chops grilled with herbs.

Mono-varietal winemaking. Low temperature maceration followed by a long fermentation in oak tanks. Aged in oak. Blending after ageing.
